This morning, I was trying very hard to sleep in, but Bennett would not have it. He kept coming into the room screaming "Mommy! Wake Up! Mommy! Wake Up! Mommy Wake Up!" I tried to ignore him, hoping he would give up and go back to the living room with his Dad. Finally, he pauses and says slowly: "MOTHER. WAKE. Up."
Isn't that what teenage kids say to their moms when they've just about had enough of their parental nonsense?
Word.
