Oh my goodness, it is only 12 noon and so far we are 3 for 3. Each time, Bennett has come into the room and said he has to go to the potty. And then we SPRINT to the bathroom and he goes. Yahooooooooooooooooooo! Now if we could just get him to do that more often when we go out to the store or to restaurants. Those public restrooms are so nasty - I cringe everytime I go in one. I'm gonna start carrying disinfectant wipes instead of diaper wipes with me everywhere I go - oh and newspaper. For the floor. It is the hardest thing to get him onto a toilet without having to take off his shoes and his pants while standing on the floor! There must be an easier way. Suggestions?

i have seen parents lift their child (with no pants on) up by their armpits and let the child shoot freely as it were.
Bring along a pair of rubber slippers for potty only?
I'm not there yet but your blog gets me thinking. I may just pull a few of the toilet covers and cover the floor where they would stand. At least it would create a barrier from the gross floor and then when finished, it's flushable. Nothing to throw back into your bag or take with you.
I never thought of that problem though.
