Imagination

I started noticing a few weeks ago, but lately we've been seeing alot of imaginary play coming from Bennett. He often talks to his "dog" Ozzie (a lifesize stuffed dalmation that we got for a steal at Books, Inc.) and feeds him grapes and lets him drink from his sippy cup. Bennett also loves to play with his wooden produce toys (pre-sliced apples, bread, avocado) and pretends to cook it and eat it. He also makes sure I have my share, which is fine with me - so good for my diet. Last night, he brought one of his stuffed animals to bed with him for the very first time (can you guess which one? Barney, of course!) He covered Barney up with a blanket, gave him some milk (or "mulch" as Bennett calls it) and patted him to sleep. So sweet!
