The brainwashing starts now! Bennett is now fully engrossed in Barney the dinosaur. I watched it with him today - from start to finish - and now believe it is an excellent source of brainwashing. Today Barney talks about helping around the house. He and his three little non-dinosaur kid friends have just finished eating dinner.
Kid#1 says: "Let me bring all the plates to the sink!"
Kid #2: Oh, why don't I fill the sink with water!"
Kid#3: And I'll wash the dishes! Oh yes!"
Barney: "Very good, kids! It's so good to help around the house. "[Turns to the camera] "Do you help around the house?"
The day Bennett turns to me and says "Oh, mommy, let me clear the table and wash the dishes!" I'll know the brainswashing was for real.

Hey, the brainwashing works (sometimes)! After playing, my niece used to pick up her toys while singing the "Cleanup, Cleanup!" song from Barney!
