Beaumont

Just came back from another trip - this time to Beaumont - close to Palm Springs. Bennett was able to spend some time with his Grandpa and Uncle Randel and also Grandma, who he greeted at the airport upon her return from a month long trip to the Philippines. Bennett loved having Grandpa take him to the park and to the market and he also showed that he doesn't really need too many toys at their house - all he needs are brooms and mops to keep him entertained! He loves to clean.

Rather than our typical Cabazon outlet excursion that we normally take when visiting the Grandparents, Bennett and I went up the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway with his Grandpa and Uncle Randy all the way up the mountain. We saw some beautiful views of Palm Springs and the desert that stretched for miles and miles. On our way back we stopped at Hadley's for their famous date shakes. I noticed they also sell Ostrich and Buffalo burgers there too, so next time we go, we're going to have to try it.

It was just Bennett and me this time and I have to say - I'm pooped! Even though it was just an hour plane ride, on our way back, the plane was packed so he had to sit in my lap and it was stuck on the tarmac for an hour with no cool air. Bennett was ansy and kept yelling "down! down!" but there was no place for him to go down. Thank goodness we made it back. Home sweet home!
