Weddings

Last Saturday, we attended the wedding of an old friend Lonnie(our long-time next door neighbor that Randel and I grew up with). Randel was the best man! What was fascinating about this was Bennett's interest in the whole "wedding" thing. As we walked into the reception, the bride and groom were there to take pictures with each guest. The pictures were developed and given out to all the guests at the end of the wedding. Can I just say how much Bennett LOVES this picture? It was placed in a card with hearts on the front and Ben carries it around with him and calls it a valentine card. And he is always looking at the picture. He told John that he wants to marry FIVE people. I told him he only marries ONE, not five at a time or five in a row -- and he got very upset. NO! FIVE! He even loves to look at our wedding picture and say "Mommy! You and daddy marry!" This morning he wanted to take it to his new school to show everyone. Here it is...the wedding picture. He sleeps with it.
