Super Brain

I'm falling so far behind on the blog! Sorry!

As you can see from the picture from the last post, Bennett is growing up way too fast. I continue to be amazed at the whole process of cognitive development - how all those 100 billion brain cells are all connecting to each other so fast. I want him to experience as much as possible, so all those neurons, synapses and genes will get molded into Mr Super Brain. You know, I don't really care if he becomes a doctor or a lawyer (though I wouldn't complain if he did), so long as he grows up curious, dreams big, and makes decisions based on what is fair and just. Ok, maybe he could be a Judge. J would want him to be an Artist so he could be an Artist Judge. Who plays drums. And sings.

Your post reminded me of this video I saw on TED recently, which is excellent and on point. Let me know what you think: www.ted.com/index.php/talks/ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creativity.html
