The Pirate and Me. (from Dad)

Teuscher, Palo Alto
gets 4 stars (out of 5) for being kid friendly.

The Pirate and I went to the Stanford Mall . We couldn't help but be mesmerized by the visual displays of chocolate and colorful boxes at Teushcer Chocolates. The boxes ranged from a witches and animals to sports inspired creations brought us into the shoppe. As we walked into the door he quickly went into a song and dance, singing "Old McDonald". Bennett started out singing and pointing to the cows, then giraffes, then the ghosts (Halloween). Then he started re-grouping them.

We were in there for three renditions of the song. A quick overview on the truffle(Champagne) they are known for, and the new window display Bennett managed to design for the store. Ghosts were friends with giraffes, and all the cows needed to be closer together in a herd. Despite all the movement, rearranging of product, and song, the employees were awesome- they learned Bennett's name, and even sang along with him.

Teuscher, Palo Alto is a great place for kids (and chocolate). We got some chocolates, a few boxes, and made new friends.
