Each day at daycare, Bennett gets a daily report card detailing his meals,naps and diaper changes. At the bottom is the section I look forward to most: How was his day?
Bennett finished his food and had a good day. Today he asked for a toy. After he got the toy he said "thank you." It was very, very cute.
Yey, we're raising a polite little boy who says "please" and "thank you" and who one day, as an adult, will hopefully call his mother everyday just to say hi.
As I was putting Bennett to sleep tonight, he kept singing and bopping his head up and down. Although I didn't recognize it at first, I realized he was singing If You're Happy And You Know It Clap Your Hands. The part that goes If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it, Bennett puts one finger tip on each cheek and smiles BIG. What a happy kid!
